The Council of Ministers decided on Tuesday, three decisions on the services of residential areas in Baghdad and the provinces, while the Economic Committee agreed to follow up the implementation of the project of the Qibla streams in the province of Basra.
“The Cabinet held on Tuesday its regular session under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi,” the press office of the Prime Minister said in a press release. “During the meeting, the needs and services of the residential areas in Baghdad and the provinces were presented.
The office added that “an operations room has been formed in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers from the ministries and related bodies to follow up the basic service needs in Baghdad and the provinces and implementation of the national effort in ministries and local governments.”
“The Ministry of Planning and the Ministry of Planning are responsible for monitoring these needs and submitting their reports and authorizing the operations room to carry out their duties,” the ministry said.
