Al-Rasheed Bank launched a new service for public sector employees, which is the Nakheel Master Card. The bank held a ceremony on this occasion attended by the Governor of the Central Bank Ali Al-Alaq, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Maher Hammad Johan and the President of the Association of Iraqi Private Banks.
Governor of the Central Bank Ali Al-Alaq, said that the launch of Rasheed Bank this service Nakheel Master Card is fully consistent with the strategy of the Central Bank in the development of banking products and the provision of modern banking services according to the mechanisms in place globally.
“The bank seeks to be a sophisticated banking sector and uses electronic programs capable of providing the best products for this sector,” he said.
“The use of electronic cards is a strategic objective at the national level for its multiple advantages in providing the foundations for the introduction of electronic governance and expand the circle of dealing with the banking sector.”
For his part, called the Director General of Rashid Bank, Dr. Rashad Khudair Wahid, all ministries to accelerate the settlement of the salaries of employees and the receipt of the card “Nakheel MasterCard” to enable the bank to grant them advances and loans, pointing out that the card helps the citizen to save and protect the circulation of counterfeit currency and retain salaries from Thefts during transport.
He added that “the card is drawn from inside and outside Iraq,” noting that “the bank has recently distributed a number of ATMs in Baghdad and the provinces, in addition to the commission card (10) thousands of dinars, three years.”
He stressed the general manager of the portal of Iraq e-mail Basel Al-Tal, “This step comes within the objectives of the company to serve banks operating in Iraq, and was the first project with the bank Rashid.”
“The company is currently working on the development of solutions and electronic payment channels, including the provision of POS devices for shops, services, companies, institutions and entertainment facilities to provide comprehensive services, sophisticated and smart for their customers and enable them electronically.
