The Government of Japan has provided 32 electric transformers to the province of Sulaymaniyah, in the Kurdistan Region, to serve about 10 thousand people.
The United Nations Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) said in a statement that the Government of Japan had provided 32 transformers to the city of Sulaymaniyah within the crisis response program, and build capacity to confront them in Iraq of the United Nations Development Program.
It said 10,000 people could enjoy electricity in the province.
