Al-Rafidain Bank announced on Friday the salaries of employees of two universities and several other departments through an electronic payment tool.
The bank’s information office said in a statement that “the bank distributed the salaries of employees of the University of Mosul and the University of Hamdania.”
He added that “the bank began to pay the salaries of the General Company for Steel Industries of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals and the disbursement of salaries of the Department of Relations of the Ministry of Culture and salaries of the Directorate of the Municipality of Afak,” explaining that “the disbursement came after the arrival of sukuks of their amounts from their circles.”
It is noteworthy that thousands of employees in Iraq are receiving their salaries through electronic payment by having smart cards issued by banks accredited in Iraq.
