European grain traders bought about 100,000 tonnes of hard wheat in a global tender closed in late December, European traders said on Monday.
They explained that the quantity includes about 50 thousand tons of Canada and the same from Australia.
The tender was closed on 19 December with offers valid until 24 December.
Traders said the price of Australian wheat was $ 288.88 per ton, including non-unloading and Canadian wheat costs of $ 295 per tonne.
The list of countries of origin permitted in the auction was limited to the United States, Australia and Canada.
