Germany on Wednesday expressed its support for Iraq economically and its determination to cooperate with Baghdad to set up hospitals and health centers to treat war-wounded people against the Da’ash organization.
This came during a meeting with Prime Minister Haider Abadi in his office, the envoy of German Chancellor Eckhard Proze and the delegation accompanying him, according to a statement by the office of Abbadi.
“During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in all fields, in addition to the war on terrorism and support for Iraq in different sectors,” the statement said.
He stressed the emergence of “his country’s support for Iraq in the economic field and the restoration of stability and the establishment of projects in the province of Basra, in addition to cooperation in the fields of opening hospitals and treatment centers for the wounded.”
