The Central Bank of Iraq’s foreign currency sales fell during the auction on Sunday to 121.02 million dollars, compared to 143.59 million dollars last Wednesday, down 22.57 million dollars, according to a statement of the Center.
The Central Bank said in a statement that the exchange rate amounted to 1182 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of 41 banks, and 10 companies for financial transfer.
Amounts sold to boost bank balances abroad were about $ 118.86 million, while the amount of cash sold was estimated at $ 2.16 million.
