The Minister of Oil Jabbar al-Allaibi, Director of Total French company in Iraq, “Thierry Otien”, and discussed ways to expand the company’s work in the oil and gas sector in the country and investment in the project of Nasiriyah integrated.
The Minister stressed the existence of many investment opportunities in front of companies and in order to achieve the development of the oil sector in the country, pointing to the ministry’s efforts to create the right environment for work. He praised the desire of Total to invest in the integrated Nasiriyah oil project, which is one of the largest investment opportunities in the oil sector.
The Minister of Oil said relations between Iraq and France are witnessing great progress in all fields, including the energy and oil sector, and there is a common desire to increase the prospects of cooperation and promote economic partnership in the interest of the two countries.
For his part, the director of Total company “Thier Oten” the desire of his company to expand its work in Iraq and participate and invest in the implementation of a number of strategic projects in the development of the oil and gas sector in the country, including the integrated Nasiriyah and Majnoon field south of the country.
