The Iraqi Oil Ministry on Tuesday called on foreign companies and investors to bid for the construction of an oil refinery in Nineveh.
The ministry said in a statement that “the new refinery will be a capacity of 100 thousand barrels per day near Mosul in the province of Nineveh and it calls on companies to invest in the process of construction and operation.”
“The terms of reference include an investment model: the first is construction, ownership and operation and the second is the construction, operation and transfer of ownership,” she said.
“The deadline for obtaining the tender is April 1 and offers will be submitted by May 15,” she concluded.
