The Iraqi government: Al-Rasheed residential city consists of 64 thousand housing units

The Iraqi government announced on Monday that the residential city of Rashid, which will be built on the land of the Rashid camp, consists of 64 thousand housing units.
“The contract signed with Emaar Properties and Eagle Hills Real Estate includes the construction of a residential city consisting of 64 thousand housing units and commercial and service facilities,” said Saad al-Hadithi, spokesman for the prime minister’s office.
He added that “the two implementing companies specialized in the field of business and housing, and the completion of the project takes several years,” noting that “the government is serious to end the housing crisis through investment in the housing sector.”
He explained that “the Iraqi government has taken a series of measures to facilitate the work of investors inside Iraq, which contributes to the development of infrastructure.”
