Jordan’s Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJA) announced Friday that it will resume scheduled flights between Amman and Erbil and Sulaymaniyah in northern Iraq from April 1 and passengers will be offered 280 JD for both return and return flights.
“Travelers to Erbil and Sulaymaniyah can purchase tickets from today until the end of this month to travel between April 1 and June 8, 2018,” the company said in a statement.
“Royal Jordanian will operate 10 flights per week to Arbil and four flights per week to Sulaymaniyah,” the statement added.
The decision to resume flights in light of the announcement by the Government of Baghdad to reopen the airports of the two cities in front of air traffic, after all the airlines operating to Erbil and Sulaymaniyah had suspended flights to them on the twenty-ninth of September 2017.
