Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi discussed with his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe on Thursday the entry of Japanese companies to invest in Iraq.
“Abadi discussed with his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe and members of the Japanese government the entry of Japanese companies to invest in Iraq,” the Prime Minister’s Information Office said in a statement. “We are working to strengthen our relations in all sectors and the long-term cooperation of many projects and job creation Of citizens.
“Iraq has ended a dangerous stage that threatened its existence and threatened the countries of the region and the world and managed to break this terrorism and achieved unity among the components of the Iraqi people,” Abadi said.
“The elimination of the ISIS ideology needs to continue the work and we will move to the stage of reconstruction and we will win,” he said, pointing to the importance of encouraging Japanese companies to work in Iraq with the stability of the security situation in it.
For his part, the Japanese Prime Minister welcomed “Abadi’s visit to Japan and blessed the great victories achieved on the ISIS gangs,” noting “the importance of continuing to support Iraq and its efforts to eliminate the thought of ISIS needs time.”
“As you did in your fight against terrorism, you will succeed in reconstruction and this will be a great achievement for your achievements,” he said. “Japan is working seriously to consolidate its relations with Iraq.”
