The Central Bank of Iraq, revealed Thursday, the near handover of Iraq more than four and a half billion dollars from the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank as soft loans so that Iraq can overcome the financial crisis.
“The volume of the amounts of this international agreement with Iraq as loans and grants amounts to 15 billion dollars for the years 2016, 2017 and 2018, and each review ends quarterly with a positive report,” said the governor of the Central Bank of Iraq.
“Iraq is receiving $ 850 million from the International Monetary Fund, $ 1 billion from the World Bank, and another $ 3 billion from the seven major industrialized countries and organizations and institutions,” he said.
