The Ministry of Electricity announced the insertion of the main Mosul Dam line east of Mosul for service.
“The main Mosul dam, east of Mosul, has been introduced with a capacity of 400 megawatts to work for the first time and to connect it with the national electricity system after it has been out of work since the ISIS entry,” the Electricity Ministry said in a statement.
He added that “the line will contribute to the addition of a number of hydropower units as well as an increase in reliability in the work of the national system and increase the processing of the province of Nineveh electricity with about 300 MW.”
