Finland submitted to Iraq the project of building a residential complex comes within the future projects planned by the Finnish government in the Iraqi areas.
The Secretary-General of the Iraqi Council of Ministers said in a statement that “the Secretary-General Mehdi Alalak received the Ambassador of Finland in Iraq, and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education, economy and housing,” noting that “the ambassador conveyed the desire of some universities in her country to cooperate with universities Iraq, in addition to companies in the implementation of service projects in Iraq. ”
“The project of building a residential complex was discussed by the ambassador as one of the future projects, which will be supported by the Government of Finland in order to push for the establishment of large housing projects that contribute to address the housing problem and provide housing units at prices commensurate with the income level of the vast majority of citizens.”
The statement pointed out that “the ambassador raised the issue of Iraqi refugees in Finland, and how to cooperate between the parties to provide assistance and help them.”
