The General Administration of Customs has set fines and duties on a number of goods imported into Iraq.
Under a document obtained by the Iraqi Economic Center, the General Authority of Customs decided to impose a fine of 200% on alcoholic beverages imported, in implementation of the provisions of the budget of 2018.
The Commission also decided to impose a 25% tax on sweets, ice cream, dairy products, juices and imported soft drinks.
