Expectations of US oil production growth to 7.6 million barrels per day in October
The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has forecast a rise in oil production from seven major rocky reservoirs in the United States by 79,000 bpd to 7.6 million bpd in October.
The administration confirmed that the surge in oil production boosted the reservoir of crude oil production in the United States to a record level of about 10.7 million barrels per day in June, the latest month available data.
At the same time, US natural gas production is expected to rise to a record of 73.1 billion cubic feet per day in October, which will increase by about 1 billion cubic feet per day from September’s forecasts, marking the ninth monthly increase in a row.
In October 2017, production reached 60.3 billion cubic feet per day.
