The Directorate General of Border Ports announced on Wednesday that the revenues of the port of Safwan border amounted to more than one billion and 200 million dinars.
The Directorate said in a press statement that “the revenues of the port of Safwan border in the province of Basra between Iraq and Kuwait amounted to one billion two hundred and ninety-five million dinars,” noting that “this amount is for one day only.”
The Directorate of Border Ports in the Ministry of Interior announced on 1 December 2016 that the value of its financial revenues during the ten months of this year amounted to more than 161 billion dinars, in addition to more than 22 million dollars.
